Location is great - all transport is nearby Clean, nice atmosphere, cosy, rather silent even though a lot of people around Amazing (really amazing) shampoo and body wash. Wish I could buy those to the airport. Also very friendly personnel - on reception and bar

This is a great place to stay but I was shocked that the fact that this is a student place was not more prominent in the description or the reviews. It was fine for our purpose- I had actually accompanied my daughter to move help her settle at uni- but had I only come for work (which was part of my visit) or alone, I would have felt quite like the outsider. The place is aimed at students and is part student housing. This is wonderful and if my daughter would have stayed here for her uni years, it would be an amazing place. But I think it is important to know this before booking. It is also important to know that there is nothing really close by. I gave a good rating for location not because it is close to anything (there are only a couple of take-away places across the street and one over-priced restaurant) but because of its proximity to the train station. This is a definite plus since you can be in central Amsterdam in about 20 minutes. Of course, it must be said that the place is nice, clean, the staff super helpful and kind and there is free laundry and gym!

Clean, the room has everything one needs for a short stay. The area rather active, a lot of activities going on in the hall, cafeteria. And it just right next to a metro station.
