Hostel Overview

This hostel is located in shopping street Nieuwendijk in the centre of Amsterdam. Flying Pig Downtown has a bar and 24-hour front desk. Amsterdam Central Station is a 3-minute walk.
Each dormitory room comes with bunk beds and shared shower and toilet facilities. The private room comes with a TV to stream Netflix or Youtube, refrigerator and private bathroom which is fitted with a shower.
A continental buffet breakfast is available every morning at The Flying Pig. You can enjoy a drink in the hotel’s bar. There is a wide variety of cafes and restaurants in the direct surroundings of Flying Pig Downtown.
Dam Square is a 5-minute walk. The Anne Frank House is 14 minutes by foot. From Central Station there are direct links by tram to Rembrandtplein, Leidseplein, Museumplein and Schiphol Airport.

“My absolute favourite hostel”

The fact that it's in central, smoking room 24/7, friendly staffs, backpackers are friendly too. Came to Amsterdam 8 times and stayed this hostel 5 times now and never encountered any problems whatsoever. Im deaf and always felt safe! Will always always come back to this hostel - loyalty's with them <3

The bar/reception area is cosy, although small Rooms have good space, are air-conditioned and the beds are very comfy

Decently clean, helpful staff and nice bar on the first floor. Bartender knows his stuff when it comes to restaurant recommendations, too. All in all, it's a very good stay and I would definitely recommend
