!CAUTION! This property is a monumental canal house with STEEP STAIRS and NO ELEVATOR. The reception is on the first floor and there are four floors in total, all ONLY REACHABLE BY STAIRS. People having trouble walking stairs are recommended to take caution and pack lightly.
We have a silence policy after 10:00 pm and want to ask our guests to lower their noise level to respect our neighbours.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The location was great - tram stop was literally across the road and there’s a lovely bar/restaurant close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Great hotel, in a fantastic location, in the central canal district, gorgeous. Right on the canal. Quiet street near lots of good restaurants and bars. 2 mins from Prinsengracht tram stop (10 mins to centre) or 10 mins walk from tube for out of town. 25 mins walk to Jordaan district with Anne Franks house etc. The hotel was lovely. The rooms are very comfortable and fresh, on the smaller side but we expected that, fine for us.. Steep steps inside and no lift, but again, that was fine for us. Breakfast (pastries and fruit/tea and coffee) was an unexpected surprise. Lovely staff. Available in the morning if we needed anything. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat - great hotel, great location.

Lovely staff, allow you to keep your bag in hotel after checkout which was very kind. Room was clean and comfortable.
