The location was perfect, near the city centre but not too busy and also close to tram stop. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast room/lounge was lovely with addition of a balcony. My single room was small but comfortable for a short stay and quietly situated overlooking the back gardens. I really enjoyed having the cats around too.

Hotel Clemens was very close to both the Anne Frank museum and the Royal Palace. Walkable from the station in approximately 18 minutes. The breakfast was good with many fresh items, blueberries, strawberries and pancakes to name just a few. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable about the area and helpful.

Nice and clean, stylish with a decent breakfast, nice staff . I was quite ill on arrival on Kings Day and asked the reception staff if I could buy some food as the shops were rammed. The staff member was really helpful and kind.. It was really appreciated. Thank you so much. I also love cats, so bonus points for that

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Clemence and would gladly return. The location is excellent — right in the center of Amsterdam, which made everything very easy to access. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was good and exactly what we needed to start the day. A lovely and unexpected touch was the presence of the hotel’s cats — they added a warm, cozy atmosphere that made the place feel even more welcoming. Considering this is the city center, where space is limited, I truly didn’t expect more, and honestly, I don’t think more could be done in such conditions. Everything was arranged thoughtfully and efficiently. The hosts were kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great stay — I would happily come back.
