So the downstairs reception is a little dated and no doubt there are better hotels in the area, but not for the money. As a couple we avoid Holiday Inn or cooperate type hotels so here worked well for our 3 night stay. If you want simple comfort and location matters then book the Adolesce, if you are looking for a slick, stylish and modern then pay the premium and stay elsewhere. My only gripe was that the bed cover pattern was like the American confed flags and there was no espresso machine, that said the bedroom/bathroom were expertly clean with interesting decour. Unusually for me, I slept like a dog, so that’s a definite win. My wife, who is no coward when it comes to judging my decisions had not much to say, so I clearly got something right when I booked here.

The breakfast was very easy yet simple. They have a range of food to choose from in the morning and the owner is very welcoming and polite.

We liked the decorations and felt like it was nice and authentic and cosy and the man who owned it was really nice and friendly and helped us when we needed it and there was milk juice and cereal in the fridge cucumbers and tomatoes and cheese and cheese spread etc It takes 25-28 mins to walk into the center area where the shops are etc depending on which part you wanted to go there is a small convenience store round the corner aswell Historical street memorial names along the canal from the people who were deported and murdered in ww2
