The location is excellent. About 5 minutes walk from the Amsterdaam Central station. On the front is the river canal near Centraal Station and the IJ waterway is on another side. Being close to the Amsterdaam Central station it has the advantage of the tramway and being close to two watebodies has the advantage of canal cruises and other boats using the waterways. The touristy area surrounding the Amsterdaam Central station is just at a walking distance. The loction of the Hotel is a quiet one and it has several shops close by to cater to food and other items.

I had a 'corner' room with great canal views. It was large and comfortable. Great breakfast with a wide selection and a bar/lounge with a canal view. Handy for the train and tram stations and to just walk into town.
