From 28 July up to and including the 19th of August the restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner.Please note that the fitness facilities are situated on the other side of the street, 50 metres away. The surcharge for these facilities is EUR 17 per day.A credit card guarantee is required upon arrival for incidentals.
In case you do not have a credit card a refundable deposit of 50 EUR cash per night is required upon arrival for incidentals.The Kersentuin restaurant is open for lunch from Monday to Friday. This hotel was booked by my husband after multiple selections on the booking website, and he even specifically checked for a king size bed room at that time! On the day of check-in, I took my parents and children for a walk outside because I know many hotels in Europe can check in at 3 pm in the afternoon. We arrived at the hotel around 2:30 and were greeted by a tall white man with a slightly chubby figure and a serious expression. He was not at all enthusiastic and did not even introduce us to the basic situation of the hotel. Later, a hotel receptionist from Bangladesh warmly told us that there was sparkling water to drink in the lobby. Later, several waves of guests came and checked in very smoothly. My parents and children are already very tired! We took a flight for over ten hours and then dragged our luggage in the hotel lobby until almost 4pm in the afternoon. The result is that we were given two small bedrooms on the 0th floor, which are very dark! Both the elderly and children are extremely disappointed! We feel very bad! Later, we went to coordinate and made adjustments to the seat. I am shocked to know if this person has received training from the hotel system before taking up their post? Or does the hotel discriminate against Asians?. There are still many lovely people in this hotel, such as the girl at the front desk who greeted us warmly, and the boy at the front desk, Daniel, who helped us coordinate the rooms. The two men at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant were warm and polite. The hotel receptionist from Bangladesh kindly asked us if we were tired. These warm moments have brought us some comfort, but also made us not completely disappointed with this country.

Staff were very helpful. Gave me an upgrade to a better room immediately as there was an issue with first offer room.
