This is a nice, easygoing hotel, absolutely good value for money, clean and comfortable room of good size. Very nice a bit soft, beds. And what is great, the windows can be opened. Pleasant employees at reception and the bar. Next to a tramstop, and one tramstop from railway station.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights during our trip to Amsterdam and paid over €200 per night. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Before arriving, we had requested an extra cot for our baby and asked if the twin beds could be joined. We never received a response, and when we checked in, the cot wasn’t in the room and the beds were still separated. We later asked again for the cot and it was eventually provided, but the lack of communication was disappointing. The most concerning issue, however, was the cleanliness. The wardrobe shelves, headboards, the lamp etc. were dusty, and when something fell under the bed and I had to pick it up, I noticed the floor underneath the bed was also dusty. The pillow under the cover had yellow stains and it made us feel so uncomfortable! On a positive note, the breakfast staff and the reception were friendly and supportive, but unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the discomfort and lack of cleanliness. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard.

The room was comfortable and the location was great for me. I wanted to have a walk in the park and reach my destination (Rijksmuseum) on foot.
