The recepcionist was very nice and welcoming. Our room was in another building in which we could experience the wonderful Dutch stairs. The room itself was fine - we appreciated the quiet (except for when our neighbour played the violin for hours haha) and the hotel's closeness to the center.

Staff is friendly. Room is comfy and cozy. There is a tram station nearby and the location is good for the price.

Excellent location for exploring Amsterdam. Tram stop to the station a few steps away from the front door. Staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The stairs are very steep and we requested a move to the ground floor. We were moved the following morning. We were out and they phoned to ask whether they could move our luggage. We were quite happy for them to do this and returned from a day out to find everything in its place and a new key card waiting for us. Immaculately clean and everything we needed for a city break. Would recommend and will definitely stay there again.
