Beautifully updated. High-quality rooms with great bathrooms, L'Occitaine toiletries. Retaining the period aspect of the building. Staff super friendly and helpful and clearly a firm favourite for locals in the evening. The bar was positively humming! Breakfast was excellent with some of the best scrambled eggs ever! A really wonderful stay. Thank you.

Checking in was a bit chaotic as a busy pub but no real issue. The room was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
