Such a lovely and welcoming family! The area is still very authentic and invites you to take walks and connect with the local people. The Gal Oya boat tour was absolutely spectacular – perfectly organized by Charitha at a fair price. They also arranged a truly special hike with the most breathtaking view we’ve seen in Sri Lanka so far.

What a wonderful stay we had, such a sweet family. Charitha also arranged the boat safari and vedda museum visit for us, hassle free and everything was taken care of. The family has been very kind to us and also trusted us with a local bank transfer for the stay cost, when we ran short of cash. Also we had the best Sri Lankan food here. :) Sambol was incredible!
