The amazing villa resides outside the city centre of Heraklion and it has an amazing landscape with mountains on the left and all around olive’s trees. The hosts are kind and fantastic, and the gave us a beautiful gift (some traditional greek biscuits, on lucky charm and 2 bottles: one of local wine and one of raiki). The interior and external design of the house was stunning, and the place was really relaxing. Thanks again to the host for the amazing stay, that permitted to us.

Villa Pasiphae has its own private pool which suited us well. Nice views of the mountains and distant views of the sea. This pool is too small and shallow for serious swimming or diving etc but if you want to do that you can walk down to the lower pool, which is otherwise shared by the other two villas. The owners, who live adjacent, are very friendly and helpful. There is a small supermarket about ten minutes walk away which will deliver any morning except Sunday. If you want to eat out there are plenty of tavernas in Amoudara, but that is about 45 minutes walk each way.

It had everything you needed, airconditioning worked well, pool was kept clean.
