Traveller reviews
Ros “A reasonable hotel in a very pretty village. Good restaurants locally.”

Breakfast was at the nearby Crown hotel (because the Saracen’s kitchen was out of order, they gave us vouchers for breakfast at the Crown) and it was disappointing for a four star hotel. I was glad that I hadn’t booked to stay there. The room at the Saracen’s Head was comfortable enough, the beds were comfortable, the room was warm and the facilities were all there. The landlord and landlady were helpful and friendly.
Dean “This place is old and needs some TLC but it’s good enough for a short stay”

Lovely really hot water in evening and morning, two radiators so lovely warm room and heated towel rail. Nice hospitality tray. Very comfy bed. Very clean bedding towels, shower gel and shampoo, fabulous breakfast over at The Crown included in room rate.
Sean “Did the job perfectly.”

I booked a room here at the last minute, to attend a wedding locally. Should have done it sooner but wasn't very organised. All I needed was a bed for the night in the right location, and this fit the bill perfectly. The rooms are basically in a pub, so might be noisy if the pub is busy, but I didn't return until the pub was shut so was very quiet. Good breakfast.
