Please note that the hotel is difficult to reach by car as it is situated in the city centre, where cars are not allowed between shopping hours. There are 2 parking garages 500 metres from the hotel, located at the Koestraat and Flintplein.Guests arriving outside reception opening hours can check in using the hotel's check-in machine. To receive the password, please contact the hotel prior to arrival using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.Please note that this property does not have a lift. Rooms are access via a staircase.

Amazing location. Super friendly staff. I would have like to have a coffee machine (and not instant coffee), but that doesn't keep de Gaaper from a 5 star rating

Excellent little hotel, super-well located in the very center of town. Comfortable and clean, plentiful breakfast, friendly and efficient staff. I was there for four nights in May 2025 and had a simply marvelous time.

Small clean hotel with an interesting history. The building dates from 1225, and has been a butchers shop (or maybe a slaughter house) and an apothecary. Good room but some steep stairs might be difficult for some. Great location - The centre of Amersfoort is rammed with good bars and places to eat. We had the set menu at Bistro 't Kannetje, really good.
