A dream villa stay in a quiet area north east of Amed beach. Sitting on a large block of land with lush gardens and expansive lawns, the pictures accurately depicted what we could expect from this villa. High ceilings and lots of room, pretty decor throughout, the villa was very comfortable and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the environment of Amed and the sounds of the ocean. Views of Mount Agung from the rooftop open air lounge room, and direct beach access with little black rocky beach even at high tide. At low tide you can walk to Amed beach. We swam out front but not the greatest snorkeling spot. Plenty of snorkeling tour operators around though. Sun worshippers will love this place with pool in the sun most of the day. We needed more shade so the outside area was not used as much during the day as we'd have liked. Great restaurants within walking distance and villa manager, Kadek can arrange transport if you want to go into Amed (8-10mins) for a meal. A delicious breakfast cooked in the kitchen everyday is included. A good menu, but we missed not having Indonesian options for breakfast. Kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook for yourself, but Made and Endi are available to cook other meals if you want. Island Girls Spa is down the road and provides excellent facials and massages, but we also arranged through Kadek a massage therapist in the villa as well. Equally as good and value for money. The villa is located near the public entry to the local beach (Pantai Melasti), and it was good to see all the locals swimming at the end of the day and the ceremonies in the lead up to the full moon while we were there.

I really don’t want to write a good review for this villa because you’re all gonna want to go there. It’s a beautiful, well designed, two double bedroom villa with everything you could possibly need, in a stunning location with amazing views. It has a very private garden looking directly out to sea with a lovely pool and numerous sunbathing areas. It’s close to the local little town with restaurants, food shops, cash point etc. The house keeper and cook were lovely and very helpful. What more can I say other than I wasn’t there long enough! What ever you do, don’t tell anyone how great this place is.

Location was fabulous with lovely views and Kadek and Maide were wonderful hosts, looking after all our needs.
