Huge variety sweet and savoury for breakfast - home made or local produce. A fork would be appreciated. A little more coffee for our English taste ! The gluten free bread was appreciated, as was the 'supper trays' and a surprise desert. See photo for view from our twin bed room.

This is the perfect location in Amboise, less than 5 minutes walk to the centre of town, overlooking the river on one side and looking up at the castle on the other. This is a beautiful home, that has been exquisitely curated by Agnes, the host of Maison Hulotte. Agnes creates on a daily basis, with breakfasts delivered fresh from the kitchen. Fresh brioche one day, scones another, cakes…home made jams, the list goes on…The Maison also has a beautiful garden which would have been perfect for reading if we’d had any time left after our days visiting chateaux in the region.

Maison Hulotte was the most beautiful property. Agnes has a great eye for design! We felt very comfortable in our room and very well looked after.
