Location was great, just a short walk to the centre. Parking was free across the street, that was ideal. House has plenty of space for a few days

The location is perfect for getting into centre of Amboise, local bakery serving excellent pastries and coffee, butchery and groceries are all within walking distance. Easy to find street parking outside the house. Across the road, you will find a big free parking under the trees plus popular markets on Friday and Sunday. Pleasant walk along the river Loire to any directions.

Sandrine was very welcoming and helpful, we felt at home there. The bed was comfortable and the house is well-equipped. We had no trouble parking right outside on the street, and there is a big car park opposite too so it isn’t a problem. The little courtyard is charming and we locked our bikes in there. The house is a few minutes walk from the chateau/restaurants etc, and there is a cycle track opposite that follows the river. It is just on the corner of the main road but faces onto a side road and it was quiet and peaceful inside and in the garden. There was a great market opposite the day we left, we stocked up happily there!
