The location right on Lake Windermere is gorgeous and the hostel is well connected via bus and ferry. Walk into the town centre is a good 20-25 minutes though. Despite being a busy and full hostel, the bathrooms and showers were very clean. I did find the wash basin inside the dorm rooms strange. Staff were very friendly and there’s a big kitchen to cook in and a luggage room as well. Overall great value for money.
