Friendly staff. The Yorkshire lass that showed me my room was very helpful. The young evening barman was great. Very informative and happy to chat when the opportunity was there. Room was clean and comfortable.

Great for a night's stay in Ambleside, right the centre of village. We have stayed a few times. Quirky accommodation in really old pub, old beams on ceiling etc. Good value for money.

Staff were fantastic. The food and ale selection was extensive and local. And the couldnt have asked for a better check in process and check out. Nice and straightforward from start to finish. 10/10 Would recommend.
