Very comfortable for 4 friends hiking. Downstairs very good for cooking, eating, socialising. Nice patio area. Location good for walking to Ambleside and in and around Rydal Water. Parking was very good. Plenty of very hot water.

Nice location but from the picture it looks like you are on your own, but there is a property adjacent and people were often walking passed our front window to get to the adjacent cottaage.

Beautiful property with everything you need inside and out. Location is not only beautiful but 5 mins walk into Ambleside.

The cottage was in a great location only a few minutes walk along the road into Ambleside. It’s stunning and peaceful and a beautiful place. We loved the interior and it really felt like home.
