Ian as a one man band did his best and made sure we had good breakfast. The rooms are basic and does the job.

Location was amazing River Rothey at the end of the garden with a walk from the garden to Rydal lake! Stunning scenery on the doorstep so no need to drive if you just want to go for a scenic walks. Iain was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Also knowledgeable about the local area, which for myself was a bonus as first time visiting Rydal. Full English breakfast 😋 superb.

Lovely location in a very unspoilt part of the Lake District near to Rydal Lake, in my view one of the most beautiful lakes in the Lake District. It is in close proximity to the Badger Inn which provided lovely evening meals and the unique opportunity of seeing badgers.
