We had a brilliant stay. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, and very quiet despite it being a 5 minute walk from all the action in Ambleside. Breakfast was delicious, loads of choices and cooked fresh to order. We’d happily stay here again on our next trip to the Lake District!

We have stayed at Meadowbank many times and we just love it. Meadowbank is in the perfect location with lots of on site parking. The rooms are large modern and comfortable and most of them have lovely views over fields and fells. Mike the owner is welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast is excellent and the homemade bread and muffins are extremely good! Will be back year after year!

Ideal location, with parking - very close to Ambleside, great hosts, comfortable room and fantastic breakfast with locally sourced bacon and sausages and homemade bread. A real find.
