The guesthouse was a matter of minutes walk from the heart of Ambleside. The host, Allison, was very welcoming and accommodating. I stayed in a lovely single room, with a super comfy bed and private bathroom. For breakfast Allison served up a delicious cooked breakfast, just perfect to get you ready for a day of exploration round the magnificant lake district.

Very clean and comfortable (king-size bed, fluffy towels…). It’s well-run and decorated with taste. Friendly owner, great breakfast. Well-located between Waterhead and Ambleside town-centre.

We had a wonderful stay and the host was incredibly friendly. The place was spotless throughout, which we really appreciated. The host even helped us with a plug in charger for our phone as we had accidentally left our at home.
