The decor was exceptional with lovely pictures and accessories- the beds were so comfortable. Very easy to warm the place up, good selection of DVDs to watch. Very convenient location near centre of Ambleside with Tesco and many restaurants nearby. We went without a car and good bus routes for exploring fells etc

Lovely cottage in great location. Really nice bedrooms. Good shower on top floor ( although took a long time for water to drain away). Did not use the other shower. Parking permit was a bonus. Dvds were also handy.
