Perfect for a couple of as in our case 2 friends as long as one friend doesn't mind a single bed. If you are staying in the lakes to walk or cycle it's a perfect base. You can walk or cycle from the door. The cottage was warm and comfortable. I took logs for the log burner but we didn't need them despite the cold Easter weather. It also has the added advantage of being 2 mins walk from Chester's by the River. Perfect for lunch/brunch on arrival or departure.

The location is perfect with great views and walks within minutes, the house is very beautiful but still manages to be cozy

Beautiful vegan restaurant nearby. Cottage was perfect and in a beautiful setting , lovely sound of the river, and good scenic walks nearby
