“Really convenient for a solo traveler with plenty of parking space , well organised reception”

Breakfast was exactly as a full English breakfast should be, not too much of anything but a wide range of textures and tastes and colours. The egg which I asked to be fried was presented perfectly with the white well formed and the yolk still slightly runny. It was hot when served. The wait between ordering and presenting was pretty quick particularly as I was one of the first guests for breakfast.

Staff in the bar, for dinner and breakfast were excellent. Food is great and service is prompt. Location is excellent for my purposes - a touring base for hiking.

The location is perfect 👍 The badger watching was a real treat and a first. The room was extremely spacious and the bathroom modern and well lit.

Lovely building with lots of character. Excellent staff and food. Generous portions. Very popular place and we can see why. Saw badgers too which was awesome.
