This is the second time I have stayed at Island View and it was even better than the previous time. The recent redecoration was excellent. The location is superb, especially if you have a dog, as it is right next to the large green which leads right down to the beach. The residents only parking is also a plus, although the road surface desperately needs attention, it was even worse than the last time I stayed on Panhaven Road. Other than that, everything was flawless. Extremely convenient for the shops, pubs, restaurants, harbour etc. Absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay ; spotlessly clean with high end furnishings and appliances ( great wi-fi ), fabulously comfortable beds and wonderful bathroom. Highly recommended indeed and we hope to be back again. Wor Bob ( my wee Border Terrier ) loves the place.
