Very generous welcome gifts which supported locally businesses which we really appreciated. Also good quality info on local businesses, walks, attractions. Host was very helpful and friendly. Bright cheerful accommodation, with everything you could need in the kitchen. And absolutely great location - close to harbour and just a few minutes walk to the high street shops. Walk to lovely Warkworth and its interesting atmospheric castle was easy along the river bank and took just under half an hour. Highly recommend taking the boat trip to Coquet Island to see the Puffins, Guillemots, seals and in our case a pod of dolphins! Location was close to the main coast road.

Fantastic cottage with all you could need and more. Elaine has equipped the cottage with quality appliances. Great location, warm and comfortable. Everything was very clean and fresh.

Elaine provided milk, biscuits, crisps, water, wine and doggy treats which was lovely. The location is 10/10 it is a 2 minute walk to the harbour and 5 minute walk to the high street. We totally enjoyed the cod from the local fish and chip shop. Everything about Elaines house was 10/10. The only little thing was my 11 month cockapoo didnt know how to climb stairs as we live in a bungalow, so we had to carry her up and down 🤣🤦🏼♀️ I would certainly stay here again and definitely recommend Elaines cottage to friends. Thank you Elaine 🌟
