The hotel has a pleasant location on the shore of the Gulf to the south east of Chalkida and this was convenient for us, as we were travelling down the island of Evia from north to south. Although no food was available in the hotel, there was an excellent taverna on the main road within walking distance.

Lovely little guesthouse/hotel on the island of Euboea, about 1 1/2 hours drive from Athens. Lovely personal welcome from the owner's themself and we got a lovely room with the most fantastic view of the sea and towards the mainland. The room was large, however the bathroom and shower were a bit too small for us. We visited the hotel in October and were almost the only guests there and we were spoiled with good service from the owners and their staff. We bought breakfast every day and could choose from several different dishes. They where all very good. The town of Amarynthos itself was boring and most restaurants were closed or had a very limited selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately, we had several experiences of downright rude and poor behavior and service towards us as guests. It was clear that they didn't want more tourists this season. However, at our hotel we had good service and friendly staff. Special thanks to the owner who helped us with good ideas for sightseeing, helped with various transport and with a doctor when one of our fellow travelers got sick. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay and enjoyed the beautiful view over the sea and the most amazing sunsets every day. Artemis hotel gets our best recommendation

The location is perfect, 10mins walk from town centre, right on the shore with a neat patio and sunbeds, a narrow strip of sand and the most clear, warm, still Gulf waters. Great spot to watch the sun's passage through the day. There's a spacious cafe offering great breakfasts and snacks and the room is well equipped and comfortable. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

We had such a great experience at Artemis Hotel! The place is clean, homey, and just steps from the beach—literally 3 steps and you’re in the water! 🏖️ The staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. We truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel has a lovely café, and even though we arrived very late (around 23:30), we were still able to order food—which was a big plus! Communication through Booking messages was smooth and fast. We always received quick and helpful replies. Our room was great. We asked for a crib for our 3-month-old baby, and it was perfect: clean with a firm mattress. The balcony was a lovely addition—ones facing the beach get a great breeze, no need for A.C! Overall, the price was excellent for the quality and location. Great value for money. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
