Have stayed at pelican twice before, it’s clean and tidy and never seems too crowded, breakfast is calm with never more than 20 or so people in the restaurant as many self cater, am planning to return next year

Staff were excellent, room was clean, apart from smelling of cigarettes, should of asked for a non smoking apartment.

The pool and terrace area are great. The bar staff are lovely and they made us feel very welcome.

Loved everything about this hotel, we only had 3 short nights, but already looking forward to a return - we had a 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms, there were 4 of us and we all felt very comfortable. The bar area had a beautiful terrace, where you could sit, relax and watch the world go by, the whole place was spotless, and very relaxing, Special mention to all the lovely staff who make this hotel feel extra special, from the lovely girls at the reception, to the great guys in the bar, and the housekeeping staff who were all so friendly - really hope the hotel management appreciate the hard work you all do to make us holidaymakers happy. There was also a man doing massage. we heard great reports and had intended to book, but unfortunately ran out of time - A great location only a 10 minute walk into Alvor, and a great supermarket nearby !
