The cottage was spacious and homely with beautiful rooms and lots of fascinating history. It's set on a farm, so we were surrounded by animals and rural life. The heating and sunlight streaming into the lounge room in the morning made it lovely and cosy in the middle of winter. The kitchen was huge and well stocked.

Very comfortable. Heaters on when I arrived and facilities as needed. Unique accomodation in old field station for something a bit different .

The place was dog friendly, it was so calm, the location was great, the surroundings was gorgeous, it was all we needed to chill for the night. We got greated as we arrived, showed about a hike to Red Rock (which we did and was amazing), our host even told us about a dog friendly pub that was nearby. Would come back anyday

Great location. Beautiful historic house. Great views from nearby lookout. A lovely place to stay. We struck a hot day and the aircon struggled to cool the cottage. Otherwise...a quirky and very well appointed cottage.
