Excellent stay, nice family run establishment, bit far from the beach but a 200 rupee tuktuk drive can sort you out in 10 mins. The owner is extremely nice

Big, comfy room with a big comfy bed, nice bathroom, and outside a table and chairs in a green, jungly, quiet atmosphere. Lovely, friendly hosts, and excellent included breakfast - cooked option (different each day) plus pastries, fresh fruit, more than you could eat. We also had dinner one night - excellent value and absolutely delicious. And, again, more than anyone could eat!

This is a truly beautiful house run by a charming family. The room itself is huge with a massive bathroom and detached from the house so it's totally private as well. The grounds are very pretty and it's located right by the bentota river. Breakfast was unbelievably good and more than I could eat! Rather wish I'd stay for dinner the niggt before!

After 3 weeks travelling around Sri Lanka this was the best place we stayed. Lovely large room, air conditioning, fridge, hot water and a nice balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. But best of all was the warm welcome from Rathna, Chitra and the family. They really made us feel at home and looked after us. Chitra's breakfasts are amazing, something different everyday, and the dinner we had was delicious and wonderful value. Rathna is really helpful and can organise all of the tours. We stayed 6 nights and had a great time, lovely beaches and river cruises nearby, and I was lucky enough to see the incredible Perahera on the Saturday night! I will be back one day!
