Great place, clean, and the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. I would definitely return next time. A pleasant surprise: water and morning coffee with a croissant.

I have stayed previously at the hotel, it is close to relatives. The hotel operates a 'self-service' check in which is easy and straight forward. My room was a compact single room with a single bed. There was a very small shower room with loo and the sink was in the bedroom. The room was small but adequate. It appeared clean and well maintained, however, the bin had not been emptied from the previous occupant, which was a little off-putting. I arrived on a Friday evening and didn't see any member of staff throughout my three night stay, so the bin remained full. On my previous visit, a self-service breakfast was included but this has now been replaced by a coffee and one croissant, which is a bit sparce! Overall a clean and convenient central location for visiting Altstatten.

This hotel is in a great location and has a nice feel. The self check in is easy and convenient and the hotel provides good information about parking etc. and a good breakfast which is included.
