Friendly staff. Big clean bed. Tasty breakfast (even managed to cope with our vegan diet). The staff stored our bikes for us.

The Victoria Inn has new owners. Paul and Camilla. A lovely young couple who are super friendly and hospitable. They made me feel extremely welcome and we're very open and accommodating. The Victoria Inn is by far the best value bed and breakfast in Alston town centre. With a friendly pub below. The full English Breakfast was more than ample (for a hungry bloke) with plenty of tea and coffee.

Perfect central location, we found it to be very quiet and peaceful, even with rooms above the bar. Breakfast (which was included, unbelievably) was great & the staff very friendly and helpful.
