The view of Alqueva from the house is outstanding, the only noise you hear is from the storks that live at the top of the house.

The host welcomed my wife and me with a special gift basket of regional treats. The decorative chalet provided us a warm belonging feeling, as if we were at a countryside retreat owned by family. My wife was in awe with the large bookcase that provided various genres of titles in several languages, and perfectly placed near the fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the property taking in the serenity of the natural landscape that surrounded us.

Loved being in this quiet idyllic place on the lake. Authentic feel to it, the perfect place to rest, feel completely free from hectic ordinary life, swim when you want. Julieta helped quickly whenever something was needed, a great host!
