The house was very comfortable, quiet and beautifully furnished. The garden was amazing and so was the view, even with bad weather. The whole structure, its facilities, pool and garden, is very well kept. I'm looking forward to be back in the summer.

Fab apartment, comfortable, well equipped. Awesome view. Very comfortable beds, quiet air conditioning. Close drive to Fundão short walk to Alpedrinha along a quiet back road. Enormous swimming pool.

The bungalows are in a great position with a fine view. We only stayed one night (as a treat as we live locally) and the accommodations were good. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom clean if a little cramped, due to the vanity unit design, and lacking at least one useful facility -- a hairdryer! It was out of season and particularly cold and it was appreciated that they had started the wood-burner before we arrived, and were able to bring more wood late in the evening, as it was really necessary. The lounge area was pleasant but the kitchen facilities very limited, the reason for booking included the fact that there was a well-respected restaurant onsite and details about it were still available online (as if it were operating -- and not quite clear it was closed, even on social media page) and we had hoped to eat there BUT were not aware it was closed until after booking. This was a disappointment. Although the rooms are not overlooked and it might be unlikely anyone would enter the small garden area in front of the 'casa', there were no real curtains (just a netting blind that was transparent) which some people (like me) might find uncomfortable and lacking privacy and which also meant the room was colder at the time we visited. The external veranda and small patio were pleasant, but the supposedly 'grassed area' was brown and dismal even at the wet and cool time of year when it might be expected to be 'green', and needed attention. True, it is a small self contained 'house' but given the quite premium price (even at the out-of-season discount) some 'self-catering' facilities should have been better -- such that if we had wished we could have cooked a proper meal (only a two hotplate electric stove top no oven was inadequate!) and dried our hair after showering (although not being a hotel I suppose this is picky but just as well for future guests to be aware of.)
