I really like the location of this Hostal. The views are amazing. Breakfast delivered to the room,then eaten on the terrace is brilliant. Value for money, indeed. I can recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed there before going to Caminito del Rey. Alora is a very beautiful town and Hostal Duran was good for our one night stop. You have to leave the car in a parking in the city center, which is not far (500 m), is almost impossible to stop in the front of the hostel because is a narrow one way street. Nice staff. Is a 2 star hotel, just to know what to expect. We had a gorgeous view of the castle from the balcony, Staying there with a wine in the evening or a coffee in the morning is great.

Beautifully clean room. Fabulous view from the terrace. They let us book in early as we had just gone to ask if we could drop off our luggage. Our room was ready so they let us check in. The beds were comfortable. There is a breakfast option which you could have delivered to your room. Excellent location in Alora for bars, supermarkets and restaurants.

Lovely warm welcome from a very friendly and helpful host. The room was small, but very clean and tidy. The Hotel is in a brilliant position right in the centre of town close to bars and restaurants. I really enjoyed the idea of breakfast in the room on a tray, novel. The croissant was excellent! Highly recommended. I have stayed here several times. I love it!

Check in was smooth with a very friendly hostess. Room was simple as per the photos on the Booking website. Comfortable bed. The room was serviced daily. Convenient location to the main parts of Alora. Room had a balcony with a view of the castle. Good value for money.

Room 204 and 205 on the 2nd floor have lovely Eastfacing balconies towards the castle. Room 104, 105 and 106 similar but smaller balconies all with chairs and a small table. Good internet connection on each floor. Breakfast starts at 8 so didn't try it. Very friendly owners. 10 min walk from the castle, 1-2 min from the main square with a mini-market for water, soft drinks and crisps.
