We came to Bruny Island for peace and quiet, and Island Escapes has plenty of both. Lovely views from the house, and whilst ewe were aware of people living (or holidaying) in nearby houses, there was hardly any noise at all over the 3 days we spent there. Island Escapes is located only a couple of kilometres from the Hotel Bruny, where very good pub meals are served at reasonable prices. The house has an outdoor BBQ area (which we didn't use as we were there in winter) and there is also an area on the front porch where a meal could be eaten when the weather was warmer.

Stylish, well-appointed, very comfortable, beautiful setting, scrupulous clean. Owner was very helpful to deal with. I made a mistake about the checkout time and the owner was very pleasant and accommodating
