Location is excellent - very quiet, close to main tourist attractions and a 15/20 minute walk to Alnwick centre. Comfortable lounge and beds Three bathrooms Two good size bedrooms

It’s a very charming old house that’s very well located in Alnwick. Quietly, just outside the centre, but within walking distance to it (20-25 min walk to the centre and the castle). So you can leave the car on the spacious and free parking at the cottage when visiting Alnwick. For dog owners; the courtyard is completely closed so you can leave your dog outside in all security.

The cottage was very spacious, we are family with our 4 month old and 2 Labradors and there was more than enough room for us all; the cottage was well facilitated and furnished to accommodate us and be very comfortable. Having read previous reviews I was worried about the cleanliness however we didn't find that to be an issue. The host was in touch directly once we had checked in to check everything was OK and again once we had left. They were open to any feedback we gave and made it feel very welcoming. The location of the cottage was perfect for us with short drives to the areas we wanted to visit and supermarkets just minutes away.
