What a huge room we were given. Everything looked new and clean and the balcony was enormous, so was the walk in shower. It may have been a disabled room as l did let them know l was 86 and needed a walk in shower. The buffet breakfast was included in the room price and there was plenty of choice from the warm and cold selection. The weekly market was setting up right below our room on the Friday morning but they were very quiet. Lovely to see how quickly the stalls went up and how professional the operation was. A word of warning - if you are parking in the huge car park immediately in front of the hotel, do not park there overnight on Thursdays or Saturdays as that is where the market sets up and your car will be towed away. The hotel has it's own private secure underground car park at 12€ a night or you can park on the street. Nice easy walk into the old town and the big 3 supermarkets are only 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate area and the sea is only 10 minutes walk away. You will get tapas with every drink you order in Almunecar as it is in the Granada province. The tapas is really varied and tasty. Almunecar is a very large town and we didn't get to see a lot of it in the 3 days we were there. We will be back to explore the rest later this year.

The room was very spacious, comfy bed, also we had big balcony with amazing views on the mountains. Close to the beach and city center. Tasty breakfast and coffee.
