This was an amazing hotel experience for me. I adored the whole time I was there. The building is fantastic and I really loved the design and It's a part of Almaty history! My room was clean and comfy with a good bathroom and the most fantastic view of the city and Kok Tebe. It's situated perfectly right in town on the main street and a short walk away from all the major attractions and a good supermarket. The extensive and quality breakfast buffet daily is fantastic with so many options. It's so nice to sit with relaxing piano music and enjoy that great start to the day plus its from 0600 am which is even better so you can start the day earlier. The staff here I must talk about because they were something really special. The most lovely people to deal with. From checking you in, holding a bag for you if you are early and most of all and this is something extraordinary - when I left my room and went to the airport I forgot my beloved e-reader in my room. I was so sad about this. I rang the hotel and the wonderful man Eldos on reception then, actually had a courier bring the device from the hotel immediately to the airport before my flight and hand it to me over the gates and then the courier was paid for as I had not enough cash left! I just can't express my gratitude enough for this. This is above and beyond. Finally, for the price of a room which is so good for everything you get, for sure if you are in Almaty you simply MUST stay at this hotel and have that experience.

Breakfast was very good, location is good. Lot of restaurants ( up market) around. Walking distance to Kok Tobe base.
