The location is prime, either coming from the airport or going to the train station and bus station. It is close to the Main Street and all the major sightseeing spots. The common space is being cleaned properly by the staff on a daily basis. The washing machine is quick and working.

The hostel has a great location close to the Panfilov park and several restaurants. It was also always very clean and tidy. Staff was friendly but you will need to use google translate to communicate as they don’t speak English.

The hostel is located in the heart of the city center. The lady at the reception is very friendly and helpful although she does not speak English. She does use the translator and help others to the highest level.

The hostel has a good budget price point, considering that Almaty can be relatively expensive as compared with other countries in Central Asia. The location was good - about 15 to 20 minutes walk from most tourist destinations. It has good connectivity to the CityBus network. It is close to many supermarkets and restaurants. It has a good kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The staff are very kind, hardworking and are always ready to help.
