I had quite a good experience staying at Alma-Ata Hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place felt clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it was easy to meet other travellers. The location is also convenient, with shops and public transport nearby. Overall, it was a comfortable and budget-friendly stay I’d definitely consider coming back!

The property location is really good and all the attractions are very close. There is free water and kitchen is well equiped.

SUPER LOCATION !!! Everything you need in less than 5mins walk. There is McDonald, convenient stores, bus stops, and many green parks around this hostel. 5-10 mins walk to center, church, bazzar, squares. 2km from Almaty 2 station. Easy to bus to almost anywhere : 206 to Sayran, 120 to Shymbulak, 95/99 to Kotobe. I like it the bedrooms, toilet and bathroom separately male and female. Therefore I feel comfortable and clean. Bitter sweet lady . She is a bit strict but that’s how she keep this hostel always clean n organized. I love her at the end 😘🙏
