“A perfect stay made even better by a great host!”

What a wonderful experience! :) The Trullo and the garden are absolutely beautiful! The house itself, the shower, decoration and kitchen equipment all give you a cozy, rustic feel and it's size was exactly what we (a couple) needed. There are sturdy screens against insects on all windows which was great. You can see the beautiful blue sea from the garden, which is very well maintained and clean. It feels private and still connected to the surrounding nature. The pool was in great condition and perfectly clean throughout. We also used the gas grill which was easy to use and made the experience of eating some of the fresh regional produce outside even better! Our host was incredibly kind and supportive! We were provided some complementary food on arrival and were able to taste some of the delicious cactus figs which grow around the property. She also helped us throughout with anything we needed and even picked us up several times because we didn't have a car, which was incredibly helpful! (I have to point out that she did as a bonus for us and nobody should expect this as part of the regular service just because I mention it here.) For people staying there: - We didn't have a car which obviously is making things more difficult, but it's still possible to make things work. The bus is largely reliable, even if it only departs every few hours (find the right timetable online to be sure!), but if we had had bikes, it would have been easy to reach all supermarkets or nearby beaches quite easily. I'd recommend bringing or renting some for others without a car. :) - The trullo is a unique building and we had to get used to sleeping in it for the first nights until we figured out how to ventilate it properly.
