The owner, Jovin, helped us immensely like giving info on ferries, how to reach the homestay, places to visit, private boat ride, etc. His father, Jacob, and the cook, Tom, gave us all we needed and made us feel at home. The food they served was too good.

Located a bit too far from the city. Go for it if you want to hv a taste of rural life with no or very less connectivity. The difficult part is no road till the property for about 250metres, so when you book it online keep a note of it and be ready with some muscles to lift your bags 😅 Also, it should be priced a bit cheaper for this reason as you get plenty of really cheap options in the city itself. However, the owner might be able to provide you a discount if possible. The staff Shito was extremely helpful and sweet. The best part about him and the stay, is they arranged the shikara boat at our door step. So the extra travel that you make away from the city is balanced by the house boat at door step.

Awesome property with direct views of the back waters. , Jobi and Jovin are amazing hosts. The breakfast and dinner prepared by Jobi was fantastic!! It's a must stay property if one visits Alleppey.
