From the minute of arrival till leaving the following morning, the Allanton Inn went above and beyond with anything that they could do to help with the stay ,from staff, service, very friendly and the food was unbelievable. I would seriously consider the 2hour drive to get a chance for another plateful lol. Room was clean, full place is clean, warm and comfy and the beer was even better.. definitely a hidden gem for sure and if a could give more than 10/10 a would.. definitely be there again..

A good size, well furnished room with a large comfortable bed. Plenty of storage space. Excellent food and attentive service The restaurant uses local, named suppliers. .Parking available immediately outside the hotel.

Very friendly staff and owner. Good sized room, clean and above average quality towels. Excellent breakfast with wide choice of lots of local food.
