This is one of the less expensive hotels situated inside the Alishan national park area, and we were anxious about the reviews. However, the room was perfectly fine for our needs. The bathroom was very dated and needed a refresh, but for 2 nights it served its purpose. We stayed in March and the temperature was warm in the day and cool at night, but the room stayed pretty warm the whole time. Staff were as accommodating as they could be.

This hotel is way better than what the average Booking rating wants you to believe. The rooms are small but everything is clean and comfortable. Staff are nice and you can leave your luggage behind while you explore Alishan forest park. This is clearly one of the better options to pick if you want an easy option close to the park and the Sunrise train, located just a 5min walk from the property.
