Marta “Hidden gem on the island of Naxos”

A 30 minute drive away from tourist crowds and packed streets of Chora, lies a beautiful hidden gem of Naxos - this house. The owner and host Eleni is amazingly involved, helpful and as said herself - she loves having guests. For us it was perfect - we wanted calm atmosphere away from the typical hotels with pools and tourist crowds. Eleni even gave us food when we arrived late on the first day because of missing our ferry and long journey to Naxos. As well, we got a room upgrade - got a bugger room with kitchen - it was perfect to cook some food for ourselves. There is a lovely restaurant down the street as well!

Eleni was a great hostess with nice little extra touches, offering espresso and freshly pressed orange juice in the mornings when she saw us and even homemade wine from her garden grapes. Very close to a lovely sandy beach with plenty more nearby.
