Sara has a very nice house! Big garden with plenty of areas to chill, an outdoor kitchen, big living room etc. she also has stacked up on some local wines in the fridge that you can try (for a small cost). She also gave us plenty of recommendations for local restaurants etc.

Quinta do Sol is a true gem in Alijó. The host, Sara, is incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The garden offers stunning views and plenty of cozy corners to sit and relax. Each morning, breakfast was a delight, with fresh juices and a daily egg prepared in a different style. Sara also provided great tips for exploring the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The honesty bar is a lovely touch, offering delicious local wines, and the nearby supermarket and outdoor kitchen make it easy to enjoy meals on-site. A perfect place to unwind and experience the beauty of the Douro Valley.

First of all, Sarah is a perfect host!! She is warm, kind, comforting and welcoming. It is worth coming here just for her. Apart from that the room we got was very nice, it had everything we needed and we felt comfortable in it. Our view from the balcony was excellent. We used the pool and enjoyed it.

It is a lovely place, the host is very friendly, you can ask her for any attractions nearby or just have a nice chat. the house is well equipped, clean and stylish. Swimming pool is clean and surrounded by beautiful garden neighbourhood is calm, supermarket and gas station are nearby. breakfast is robust and filling I really recommend this place for people who just want to have a nice time on a Portuguese contryside
