location great, near the river and among the downs, pleasant walk to sea, short walk to Alfriston Village. Lovely cottage

We were travelling on foot for a walking holiday so the easy access to walking routes was key. The balcony in the evening and into the night- it was enjoyable to be out there in the cool watching bats flitting, stars twinkling and distant lightning flashes illuminate the horizon.
